Additional Information

Payment Security

For security purposes, all payments will be handled by Stripe, one of the largest and secure payment platforms available, so although you may see the BookRoar branding when you sign up, no payment details are visible or held by us here at BookRoar.

Why not ads or affiliate schemes

We have had some members ask about alternative pricing structures and whether or not we could keep BookRoar free to use. At this time, we don’t think that there are any viable alternatives for us. Ads are too invasive and clutter the page, and as BookRoar is quite a bespoke service, the revenue generated wouldn’t be enough to sustain our overheads. Affiliate links with Amazon are also a no-go as we would run the risk of authors and reviewers swapping metadata, which could lead Amazon to suspect they know one another. We have considered all our options during our research phase and feel the subscription is the very best option for taking BookRoar even further.
